I agree with 12 daily hugs. Having intentional hugs helps to regulate my system and ground my spirit. I thrive in community, so hugging feeds my soul. I am grateful that I was 1 of your hugs last night, Kiki. And, I look forward to more. The act of slowing down, to connect with another human being is an act of Grace and Spiritual practice for me. I invite others to take that on.
I learned a hugging meditation from Tich Na Han’s book, “Peace is Every Step.” Simply stated, when you hug a person you breathe unison with them for 3 breaths. For me, I fall in love whomever I do this meditation with. It’s as if we become one person. It’s magical! 💜🙏🏽
